The Summer Remote Internship Program offered by Chaudhry and Chaudhry Associates (C&CA) has been established with the objective of bridging the gap between academic legal education and professional legal practice. The Program provides law students with an opportunity to develop practical legal skills through structured training, supervised legal research, and assignment-based learning, while allowing participants to continue their academic commitments through a flexible remote format.
Recognising that practical exposure is an essential component of legal education, the Program has been designed to acquaint interns with the fundamental aspects of legal practice, legal reasoning, professional ethics, legal research, drafting techniques, and contemporary legal issues. The internship seeks to cultivate analytical thinking, professional discipline, and practical competence that will assist participants in pursuing successful careers within the legal profession.
The Program comprises two principal components.
I. Professional Training Sessions
Interactive online sessions shall be conducted on selected dates throughout the internship.
These sessions are intended to provide interns with practical insights into legal practice and may include, inter alia:
The Firm reserves the right to modify, add to, or substitute training topics whenever considered appropriate.
II. Practical Assignment-Based Learning
Interns shall be assigned practical legal tasks under the supervision and guidance of members of the Firm.
Assignments may include:
Constructive feedback and guidance shall be provided wherever reasonably practicable.
Interns may complete assignments at their own convenience, provided that all assigned work is submitted within the prescribed deadlines.
